Workshop: Modern C++ Programming with C++14 and C++17

C++

After C++11 became the base foundation for "modern C++ programming", C++14 and now C++17 are the next evolution. Although C++14 and C++17 are not a big step like C++11, they contains a huge amount of small and helpful language and library features, which will impact the way we program in C++.

In this workshop we will cover all the new language and library features of C++14 and C++17. Besides the motivation and context of these features, spiced with background information from the standardization itself, together we will exercise concrete programming examples to make clear what changes with the new features in day-to-day programming and how to benefit from them in practice.

Who Should attend:
C++ Programmers interested in the upcoming features of C++17, which are available in gcc 7 and Visual Studio 2017.

Prerequisites:
Basic knowledge of programming in C++.

Computer setup:
The exercises are performed together on the laptop of the presenter.
