Developing microservices like a boss with Dapr and Azure Container Apps

Building, shipping and operating distributed applications can be a hazzle. A lot of time is often spent writing plumbing code and focusing on infrastructure aspects instead of your application.

Microservices
.NET
Cloud

In this session you will learn why Dapr and Azure Container Apps is a perfect fit that removes a lot of that friction.

Dapr is an open source distributed application runtime that simplifies building distributed systems, in the form of a set of building blocks that hides a lot of the complexity around service invocation, pub/sub messaging and state management for example.

Azure Container Apps is the perfect fit for hosting microservice applications. It lets you deploy, monitor and scale your applications without having to provision slow and expensive infrastructure. Just focus on developing your applications and pay only for the amount of resources that your application requires. You can even scale your applications down to zero if they are not being actively used, and pay nothing!

Join me for an introduction on how you can use these two technologies to quickly build and deploy distributed applications in the cloud.
