Alan Smith is an AI and ML developer, trainer, mentor and evangelist at Active Solution in Stockholm. He has a strong hands-on philosophy and focusses on embracing the power and flexibility of cloud computing to deliver engaging and exciting demos and training courses.

Alan has held the MVP title since 2005, and is currently an AI MVP. He is in the organization team for the CloudBurst and AI Burst Conferences.

Amy is a business owner,  senior developer, mentor and international conference speaker. She has a passion for sharing knowledge with the community with a focus on nurturing the next generation of developers. This has led to her organising and volunteering at events, running technical workshops, and writing and producing her own video content. She also regularly presents and keynotes at events all over the world, informing and entertaining audiences from a variety of industries and backgrounds.

A familiar face in the developer community Amy volunteers her time with several groups, including DDD Perth as Vice Chair and Director of Conference Content, Perth Azure User Group as one of the organising team and She Codes as a regular mentor. These contributions are not unnoticed, as she’s been recognised as a Microsoft MVP and a Twilio Champion since 2019 for her contributions to the tech community and ongoing commitment to helping those around her.

Anders Abel is an senior .NET developer in Stockholm. He has been programming since he was 9 and still thinks it’s tremendously fun. He works with Duende Software on IdentityServer and designing identity and security solutions.

Andrew Murphy started his career as a Software Engineer but, after a decade in technology leadership, he decided to focus on teaching the skills that he learnt the hard way. When he moved into leadership there was no support, so he had to make all the mistakes (a lot of them!) and learn from them.

His goal is now to make sure that tech leaders don’t have to do things the hard way by providing them with the mindsets and skillsets that can make them happy, confident and effective leaders.

His company, Tech Leaders Launchpad, currently focuses specifically on the new and emerging leader space, as that's the place we can have the biggest impact on the students, and the industry.

Austin is a founding director of Sixty North, a software consulting, training, and application development company. A native of Texas, in 2008 Austin moved to Stavanger, Norway where he helped develop industry-leading oil reservoir modeling software in C++ and Python. Prior to that he worked at National Instruments developing LabVIEW, at Applied Research Labs (Univ. of Texas at Austin) developing sonar systems for the U.S. Navy, and at a number of telecommunications companies. He is an experienced presenter, teacher, and author, and he is an active member of the open source community. Austin holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Barry is a veteran Architect who has held Chief Architect positions at Microsoft among others. He has also been a startup CTO, the Worldwide Lead for the Solutions Architecture Community at Microsoft, and founder of the Swedish Azure User Group. He is also a PhD candidate in software design and complexity science. 

Espen is a developer and architect with over 25 years of experience. He has worked on everything from embedded systems, electronics and games to large scale cloud applications. He is as full-stack as they come. Espen started coding at age six on a C64, and has been cranking out software ever since. 

He served as the principal architect, tech lead and lead security 
engineer on the compensation scheme for Covid-19 suffering 
businesses released by the Norwegian government. 

Espen was the Senior VP of Technology Exploration for DNB in San Fransisco and is currently doing technology and security research in DNB NewTechLab.

James Eastham is a Serverless Developer Advocate at Datadog. He has over 10 years experience in software, at all layers of the application stack.

He has worked in front-line support, database administration, backend development and now works with some of the biggest companies in the world architecting systems using AWS technologies.

James produces content on YouTube, focused around building applications with serverless technologies using .NET, Java & Rust.

Jørgen is a programmer and has mainly been writing free software in his career - lately targeting gcc. He left the energy industry for work on compiler toolchains and build systems in Japan, before returning to his native Norway where he is currently programmer & director at patch. Now he solves hard and interesting problems where he can find them, does bespoke programming as well as teaching, training, and consulting. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from NTNU.

Laila Bougria is a Solutions Architect and Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the Microsoft .NET space. She's a keynote speaker, a Microsoft Azure MVP, and frequently shares her knowledge and insights at conferences worldwide. Currently, Laila is busy building NServiceBus at Particular Software and solving distributed riddles. When she's not immersed in complex problems or code, Laila enjoys indulging in her favorite pastime - knitting! She finds that tangling the yarn into beautiful patterns helps untangle her thoughts.

Layla is a Microsoft MVP, Progress Champion, 3 times GitHub Star, and former director on the board at the .NET Foundation.
She is the co-founder of November North, a micro-game studio, developing and producing a first-person stealth game code-named "HorroTown".
Layla is passionate about .NET, enterprise software development, and system architecture. She has recently started bringing those architecture concepts into game development, live coding Unity game development on Twitch.

Mey is a Senior Platform Engineer and a public speaker who brings Star Wars geekery to everything she does.

He is married, father of two and lives in a small village just outside Amersfoort, The Netherlands.

Phil is a developer relations engineer for DataStax and Google Developer Expert living in Melbourne, Australia. He loves working with JavaScript, TypeScript or Ruby to build web applications and tools to help developers. He once helped build a website that captured the world's favourite sandwich fillings. His online course platform offers a self-paced approach to learning about security. Philippe also actively helps shape OAuth 2.0 best practices as the co-author of the best practices for browser-based apps specification. 

Philippe is recognized as a Google Developer Expert, acknowledging his contributions to web application and API security. He also organizes SecAppDev, an annual week-long application security course in Belgium.

Pinal Dave is a seasoned SQL Server Performance Tuning Expert and independent consultant. With over 22 years of hands-on experience, he has authored 14 books on SQL Server, created 85 Pluralsight courses, and published more than 5,500 articles on database technology on his blog, SQLAuthority. He also holds a Master of Science degree and multiple database certifications.

Rendle is the founder of RendleLabs, which provides consulting services and workshops to .NET development teams across all industries. Their particular obsessions are API design and development, performance, Observability and code-base modernisation, as well as eliminating unnecessary complexity wherever possible. They also use skills acquired during a few years as a professional stand-up comic to deliver entertaining and informative talks at conferences around the world, and recently learned to play bass so they could join tech parody band The LineBreakers.

Roland is a Microsoft MVP, ASP.NET Insider and Pluralsight author enjoying a constant curiosity around new techniques in software development. His focus is on all things .NET and browser technologies. 
As a long-time trainer and speaker, he led many courses on these topics and spoke about these topics at many international conferences. He's currently working with Duende software to help building out their products.

I've been working as a .NET developer for over 16 years now in a variety of industries including government, retail and manufacturing. But I've been hacking around with computer code since I was old enough to read my Dad's copy of the ZX Spectrum BASIC coders manual. 

I've been speaking about Functional C# at various user groups and conferences around the UK, USA,  Europe and Australia and am particularly interested in seeing just how far we can push C# without breaking it.  

In 2023 I released my first technical book: "Functional Programming with C#", published by O'Reilly Media.  

When I'm not coding, or running after my two small children, I have been known to enjoy the classic series of Doctor Who, Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks, Cryptic Crosswords, and rather more coffee than is probably good for me.
