Domain-Driven Design and Team Topologies for Product-led Organizations

Domain-Driven Design is an approach for modelling your business and identifying areas of expertise known as domains. Team Topologies is an approach for organizing your teams in modern continuous delivery environments.

The two approaches address two parts of the same problem: how to organise your business and software in a way that optimises how you create competitive advantage.

Both approaches require a collaborative mindset using techniques like Event Storming, where people of all job titles and from across different parts of the organisation model the business together.

The system is never done, so the ongoing pursuit of collaboratively discovering and re-designing the business should be baked into ways of working.
