Cobots, Dark Modules and Architecting For A

The use of AI as part of software delivery has been transformative. Or, more to the point, we are in the middle of the transformation. It is throwing up a number of challenges to the way we work, but some aspects appear to have been overlooked - including architecture.

In this talk I will explore how concepts from robotics and industrial automation more generally can point towards architecting with AI-assisted software delivery in mind. Bringing in ideas from outside our industry, together with idea both old and new, I show how architecture can be key to navigating the uncertainty of AI, whilst also making sure you are well positioned to take advantage of it.
